Well I arrived in Dalkeith in one piece after a eight and a half hour flight, a three hour layover, a hour and a half flight, and a thirty minute bus ride to the palace. All the flights went smoothly and actually meet 5 people that were going to Amsterdam on our MLPS. flight before we even left so we all stuck together and are all really getting along so getting along with everybody. I am rooming with 4 other guys in one big room! I get a bed, half of dresser, and a closet! I got all my clothes to fit, so don't worry about that! Ha We had a house tour, dinner that was actually pretty decent. It tasted like tator-tot hotdish so it was rather good with a chocolate cake dessert. Henry our chef is starting off very well and Im thinking I will like him!! Now going to bed early since I have barely slept in the last 48 hours and got to be up by 7:30am tomorrow for breakfast and a long day in Edinburgh and visiting different places around the city. I will defiantly start posting some pictures as soon as I get enough and have the time. The next three days are full of orientation activities and other things to get us comfortable in the palace. The weather for the rest of the week is in the 30-40 and partly sunny! Defiantly is warmer when the sun is out but haven't had that chance to much yet!

Whew......thank goodness Jillian knew people in high places! Glad to get that all straightened out. Good to hear the friendships have started. Any other people there a couple like you & Britta? Worked until 7pm tonight, it was a long day. Looking forward to the weekend. Hope you slept well in your new bed for the next 4 mos. Take care of yourself, and miss you tons!
